The South Feminist Knowledge Hub is a multi-thematic, multi-language, curated catalogue of resources in diverse formats—authored by feminists from the Global South. It aims to support Southern feminist activism by building a collective knowledge base by and for South feminists, while contributing to their legacy.
I designed, implemented, and oversaw the launch campaign to support the Hub's public release, engage the academic and activist feminist communities, and mobilise the broader ecosystem of feminist organisations across the Global South.
A key priority was ensuring regional and linguistic representation among participants and creating a strong sense of ownership over the Hub. The campaign encouraged users to explore the platform, share suggestions to improve user experience, contribute resources to expand the catalogue, and promote the Hub within their networks.
Campaign tactics included direct outreach to the organisation’s subscriber base via email invitations, strategic social media engagement, and targeted mapping and outreach to feminist organisations and movements across five regions: MENA, Latin America and the Caribbean, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Asia.
As a result, the launch event gathered over 200 participants from more than 80 countries and generated multiple collaboration requests from feminist networks and institutions.
I was also invited to speak on the Feminismos del Sur podcast, where I discussed the Knowledge Hub and the intersections between knowledge production and decolonisation.
